Bible Classes

High School

Have you ever wondered what the Bible says about evolution, or how we know the Bible is the Word of God? On Sunday mornings this spring, our High School class is studying Christian Evidences material from Apologetics Press. “Evidences” means that these lessons focus upon PROOF for what we believe. “Apologetics” is the study of how to support your beliefs. This is such an important subject for modern teenagers! This class is taught by Russel Pigg–who had his own teenagers not so long ago.

Middle School

Our Middle School class is studying the same Christian Evidences material as our High School class. Separating into the 6th-8th grade age group allows these young people to discuss these important issues on their level. One of our elders, David Glosson, is the teacher.

Newborn - Elementary

We have several different classes all geared to teach your children about God and the Bible. We have multiple studies going on at any given time. Classes are broken down by grade level and each class offers unique learning.

Young Adults

Early adulthood is the most critical time for a person’s faith. Statistically, 75% of Christian young people abandon their beliefs during these years. However, this same age group is the most opportunistic for the spread of the Gospel. Young adults are more open to learning new things, and are more likely to come to Jesus if they haven’t before. It’s the perfect age group for studying about the book of Acts! Acts is about the beginning of the church, the spread of the Gospel, and salvation. Young Christians can be strengthened in their faith, and other young people can learn the truth for the very first time! This class is an excellent opportunity for college students and young professionals to drop in for a visit. The class is taught by Eric Johnson (one of our elders), and Chris Adkins (one of our deacons).

Adults

Do you want to be free? On Sunday mornings, the auditorium class is studying the book of Galatians in a wonderful study entitled “Freedom in Christ.” Our youth and family minister, Josh Clevenger, is leading the study. This is a verse-by-verse study–perfect for the student who loves to study the Bible.
