What To Expect at Worship
Preaching is something the early church continued in with great diligence (Acts 2:42). Preaching will save those who believe (1 Corinthians 1:21) in that the gospel that is proclaimed is God’s power to save (Romans 1:16). The preaching you will hear is not based on man’s wisdom or opinion, but by book, chapter, and verse for all that is taught. Sermons are edifying and profitable as you seek to serve God.
We sing songs of worship unto God as instructed in Ephesians 5:19
“speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord”.
We do not use musical instruments in worship because we do not find authority to do so from God’s word.
The only way a Christian could speak with God is through prayers. Christ has said that whatsoever we shall ask should be in His name. (John 16.23.) Also, we are commanded to pray everywhere. (1 Tim. 2.8.) The apostles prayed everywhere and in every situation. (Acts 12.5, 16.25; Romans 8.26; 1 Thessalonians 5.17.) In keeping with an orderly fashion of worship, it is usually announced that we will be led in prayer by a certain brother. Everyone does not pray his own prayer out loud. We are led in prayer by a brother who speaks his prayer publicly, and the rest of us follow him silently as we pray together. This allows us to worship reverently and orderly.
The Lord’s Supper is observed every Sunday as we see done by the early church in the New Testament (Acts 20:7). The unleavened bread and fruit of the vine represent Christ’s body and blood as they were given on the cross for us (Matthew 26:26-29).
The only way the church of Christ collects funds for the work we do is through a free-will offering of the saints. This is the only method authorized in the Bible. We do this on the first day of the week as we find example (1 Corinthians 16:1-2). If you are visiting with us, we are just happy to have you here and we are not asking for any money from you.
If someone responds for baptism, they will confess their faith in Jesus Christ and will be baptized for the forgiveness of their sins. You will witness the baptism during the service. The baptism will be by immersion (Acts 8:35-39; Romans 6:3) and for the remission of their sins (Acts 2:38).
If someone has already been baptized according to scripture they may rededicate their life to Christ in front of the congregation
Brother and Sisters in Christ coming together to worship the Lord and Fellowship with one another. After services you will see a lot of talking between members. Many may come up to you and speak with you. We would love to get to know you!

On Wednesdays, we meet for Bible Class and Devotional Time at 7:00 p.m.
- +What Should I Wear?

- +What Should I Bring?
- +What Happens During Worship
- Our normal worship service consists of praying, singing, partaking of the Lord’s Supper and having a lesson from the Bible brought to us.
- +What Happens During Bible Class
- We have Bible classes for all ages. Children classes teach the Bible in a engaging and memorable way. Teen and adult classes are open discussions about Biblical subjects led by a member of the congregation. We usually have several classes available for different groups and ages.
